Bridge Street Custom Models is a customer-oriented, custom HO scale diesel locomotive building service provided by Brian Bennett of Northwood, New Hampshire.

----------------------------

I provide a focused, passionate service to research, acquire parts, build, detail, paint, decal, and weather a turn-key model of a specific prototype requested by the customer.  I specialize primarily in 2nd-Generation EMD and GE products but will consider projects of all makes and models.  My intent is to be very customer-oriented and each project is driven by the specific needs of the customer, whether it be Bridge Street totally starting from scratch with a build and taking care of all necessary parts acquisition, or perhaps building that pile of parts that's been sitting on your shelf for way too long.  I can also do custom sound and light system installs (specializing in Soundtraxx) and remotoring on a case by case basis.

I am concurrently building a large state of the art model railroad and all the rolling stock that goes with it, so I am NOT an assembly line, eBay-style custom builder.  With only have a few projects in progress at once, work on your locomotive will be focused.  That said, the typical estimated time of completion for a build will be on the order of a few months from conception to delivery.  Some will be faster; some will be slower, depending on the requirements of the model.

A preliminary pricing list for work performed will be posted soon and will include a la carte, hourly, and package pricing, also very customizable depending on the project.  The price for the project will be agreed upon before work starts, minimizing cost/time overruns paid for by the customer.  A deposit will be required to begin work.

Freight cars are also done on a by-request basis and will be considered, though Bridge Street Custom Models is primarily a custom diesel-building service.

I passionately enjoy building HO scale diesel locomotives and you'll see this in your finished product.  I look forward to seeing one of our projects digging in and pulling tonnage around your layout.
